Chaos Rising — Everything We Know About the Next Pokemon TCG Set
Chaos Rising is the fourth set in the Mega Evolution era and one of the most hyped releases of 2026. Built around a ninja and shadow disruption theme with Mega Greninja ex as its headline card, this set promises chase-worthy Special Illustration Rares and a competitive shake-up. Here is everything we know so far — confirmed cards, pull rate predictions, product pricing, and how to secure yours in the UAE.
What Is Chaos Rising?
Chaos Rising (set code ME04/CRI) is the fourth Mega Evolution set in the Scarlet and Violet series, scheduled for release on May 22, 2026, with prereleases running from May 9 to 17. It is the English adaptation of Japan's Ninja Spinner set. The set contains approximately 86 main cards plus over 40 secret rares, including 11 or more Special Illustration Rares. The ninja and shadow disruption theme makes it the thematic opposite of Perfect Order's balanced, structured approach — expect sneaky Abilities, hand disruption, and high-speed attackers. Mega Greninja ex headlines the set as the mascot card.
Confirmed Cards and Early Leaks
Several cards have already leaked ahead of the official reveal season. Greninja SIR (#116/86) features dynamic water shuriken artwork and is almost certain to be the most chased card in the set. Roxie Performance SIR (#121/86) is a Poison-type Trainer supporter with a striking full-art treatment. AZ's Tranquility (#120/86) rounds out the confirmed full-art Trainer lineup as a support card. Mega Greninja ex will serve as the set mascot with an expected disruptive Ability that fits the ninja theme. More card reveals are expected after Japan's Ninja Spinner set launches on March 13, so check back regularly for updates.
Pull Rate Predictions
Based on patterns from the Mega Evolution block — including Ascended Heroes and Perfect Order — we can estimate pull rates for Chaos Rising. EX cards should appear roughly 1 in every 5 packs. Illustration Rares land at about 1 in 8 packs. Special Illustration Rares remain the hardest pulls at approximately 1 in 67 to 91 packs. With a smaller main set (86 cards compared to 295 for Ascended Heroes), individual chase card odds may be slightly better. However, the SIR pool of 11 or more cards keeps the top pulls genuinely rare. Expect around 4 to 5 Illustration Rares per booster box and roughly one SIR per 2 to 3 boxes.
Products and Pricing
The standard Chaos Rising product lineup is expected to include a Booster Display Box with 36 packs at an estimated AED 530 to 590, an Elite Trainer Box with 9 to 11 packs plus a promo card at AED 185 to 220, a Booster Bundle with 6 packs at around AED 110, and a Pokemon Center ETB stamped variant at AED 220 to 260. Pre-orders are expected to open in late March after Perfect Order launches on March 27. High-hype sets like Chaos Rising historically sell out fast at distributor level, so early orders are strongly recommended if you want sealed product at retail pricing.
Why Greninja Sets Break Records
Greninja consistently ranks as one of the most popular Pokemon globally, topping fan polls year after year. The Greninja VSTAR from Crown Zenith became one of the most chased cards of 2023, and any set featuring Greninja as the mascot generates outsized demand. A Mega Greninja SIR in a ninja-themed set is a recipe for record-breaking chase card prices. Both collectors and competitive players will want this set — disruption mechanics tend to impact the meta while the artwork appeals to display collectors. If past Greninja releases are any guide, sealed product will carry a premium well after release.
How to Get Chaos Rising in the UAE
Tatemon TCG will stock Chaos Rising singles and sealed products from launch day with next-day delivery across all emirates. Pre-order availability will be announced on our store — check back in late March or browse our current inventory in the meantime. For collectors who prefer singles over sealed packs, we recommend waiting for market prices to settle 1 to 2 weeks after release, as early singles prices are always inflated by hype and limited supply. Whether you are chasing the Greninja SIR or building a competitive deck around the new disruption cards, we will have you covered.
